2023 Manitoba Student Health Research Forum
Exciting 3-day event for health science students in Manitoba. Including poster competition, networking events, workshops, and guest lectures. June 12-14, University of Manitoba, Bannatyne Campus.

NOTE: Remember to keep track of how many MMID Researcher seminars, PhD and MSc defenses you’ve attended. This number is required for your annual committee meeting form along with your Student Seminar attendance (tracked by Dr. Larcombe).

Advisor-Student Guideline
An important reminder for all graduate student advisors to please re-review the questions with their students on the Advisor-Student Guidelines as part of their pre-committee meetings. If any changes have occurred please update these on the portal so these guidelines are up-to-date and reflect current policy. These need to be addressed as a check box on the latest progress report forms all students must complete and submit this year.
REMINDER Summer 2023 (Re-) Registration

Please make sure you’re registered for the Winter session!
Students who anticipate graduating in June 2023 are not required to register for the Winter 2023 terms.
Students who anticipate graduating in October 2023 must register for their final exercise/project in Sumer2023 term. Re-registration for Summer 2023 is still a good idea in case the student’s graduating term is delayed.
Returning students: re-registration
MSc CRN 1226 (Summer 2023)
PhD CRN 1231 (Summer 2023)

New students –
Add: Research Integrity (CRN 1677) and Academic Integrity (CRN 1412 or French: CRN 1966)

Everyone has access to a Zoom account through your UM email address.
If you have been using Zoom previously, you are now able to move that account to the UM Zoom account which provides more advanced features. The instructions to do this are further down the page under ‘Move your existing Zoom account’.
A little tip – if you are currently logged into Zoom, you need to log out first before following the steps to move your existing account.
