This is student departmental seminar series presented by MMID graduate students occurring every

Wednesday at 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
from October 5, 2022 to March 5, 2023

Students – Please sign into the ZOOM using your own name for attendance tracking. In-person presentation at Room 540, BMSB.


Format of the presentations:

20 min presentation
10 minutes for questions – moderated by Dr. Larcombe
3 students will present per session

Peer Evaluation and Attendance tracking: 

Your attendance at student seminars is mandatory and is tracked when you submit the Attendance and Evaluation form. 


Your attendance is recorded when you fill in the seminar evaluation

Please constantly check your school email for an up-to-date seminar presenter list sent by the department. Seminar guideline can be found on MMID Sharepoint page.

MMID Student Journal Club

Student Journal Club Presentation Schedules

Once you received article approval from your journal club coordinator, please CC Angela (Angela.Nelson@umanitoba.ca) the approval email with your “approved” choice of journal article at least 3 weeks in-advance of your scheduled presentation date with the following information:

  1. Your name, date of journal club presentation, and JC group number
  2. Your supervisor/co-supervisor’s name
  3. Title of your journal article
  4. Name of the journal your article was published
  5. PDF file of your journal article and website link to the article

(Not mandatory) Please include a photo of yourself if you would like it to appear on the department event schedule.
